The solid steel heads are protected by heavy-duty, shock-absorbing and durable Urethane (CPU) coating which is completely moulded over the head to the start of the dumbbell handle. The heads are welded to a gunmetal finish handle for a solid, one-piece finish which is comfortable in hand and won’t damage your floor when drops occur.
